Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Obtain work orders from the dispatcher and take vehicles to the assigned stall area.
• Work according to all dealership and factory standards to carry out service efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out accurate diagnoses and perform repairs as requested by the customer.
• Use professional communication with the Parts Department to obtain any parts needed.
• When requested by the customer or mandated by warranty, save and label all relevant parts.
• When the scheduled time changes, like if you need more time for your work, if the service indicated is not needed, or if more service is needed, tell the service advisor immediately.
• Follow all documentation procedures.
• Make sure you’ve fully addressed the customer’s complaint with a road test.
• Use quality checks to ensure the highest levels of quality in your work.
• Go to your required training classes.
• Read and understand all factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle during your work.
• Complete all administrative and housekeeping procedures.
• Comprehend and follow exactly all regulations, be they federal, state, local, or otherwise, regarding automotive service and repair.
